Structure and function: In the laser-welded housing made of polyamide PA66, the rotary movement of the lever arm is determined inductively via the rotor. An ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) precisely calculates the position of the rotor. Due to a repeating characteristic of the output signal curve (depending on the sensor structure used), different installation positions can be realised.
