The HELLA RokLUME 380 driving lamp was developed for heavy-duty applications with particularly high lighting requirements. The enormous light output provides more than twice as much light as a comparable xenon driving lamp and thus turns night into day. The 12 high-performance LEDs produce extremely wide-area and homogeneous illumination up to a range of 400 m (1 lux) with a colour temperature of 5,000 Kelvin. In very dark road conditions, conditions similar to daylight can be created at the side of the road for orientation, and contrasts and colours can be perceived better. This makes it much easier for the human eye to perceive the senses and prevents eye fatigue. The RokLUME 380 is optimally suited for the toughest operating conditions. In addition to the cover lens made of shatterproof and hard-coated polycarbonate, the aluminium housing is covered with a robust NanoSafe coating. This means that the headlamp is well protected against external mechanical influences such as stone chips, water and salt. The RokLUME 380 is hermetically sealed and therefore watertight, submersible to 1m water depth (max. 60 min.) and resistant to high-pressure cleaning (IP6K9K, IP6K8). The heavy-duty rotating bracket and the innovative Nord-Lock screw system always keep the headlamp in the right position, even with strong vibrations. The integrated electronics protect the unit in case of reverse polarity and ensures constant brightness even with fluctuating operating voltage. Temperature sensors protect the driving lamp from overheating. This ensures long service life of the LEDs and safe driving at night.
