Voltage Transformer - 400W

Application: The DC/DC converter is also called a voltage stabiliser. It maintains the output voltage to the electrical subsystem in the event of a short-term voltage drop (when starting the engine) (e.g. in the start-stop system ). This essentially concerns the elements of the on-board network that are perceptible to the vehicle driver and are not safety-critical. These include the radio and the navigation system (infotainment systems), but also various terminals (e.g. in agricultural and construction machinery) and information systems (e.g. in buses). Structure and function: The voltage stabiliser is activated when the ignition is switched on. As long as stabilisation is not required, the sub-system of the on-board power supply is coupled to the main system via a low-impedance line. The voltage drop at motor start is signalled via the start signal. This decouples the subsystem and the main network from each other and performs the stabilisation. Optionally, the unit can be equipped with a LIN diagnostic interface.
